What to Expect

To help you feel at ease when you visit, here are some answers to questions you may have…

What’s the dress code?
Come as you are. Whatever you’re comfortable wearing is what you should wear.

Do you allow people with tats and piercings?
Sure. Why wouldn’t we?

How’s the service structured?
We begin with a time of Bible study, which typically lasts for about 90 minutes. We follow that with a few worship songs and usually an interesting video. We have a few announcements, then a sermon which lasts 25-30 minutes. Realize however, that this is a basic order and we change it up from time to time.

What’s the music like?
We tend toward singing modern praise songs with some old hymns thrown in, though they’re typically updated from the old days.

Is child care available?
Not currently.

What translation of the Bible do you use?
Depending on the speaker, it may be the New International Version, King James, New King James, English Standard, Holman Standard, or New Living Translation.

Do I have to put money in the offering plate?
We’ll never pressure anyone to give. That’s between you and God.

Will you pester me afterward and sell my name to some list company?
We’d like to get your info, but we’re pretty low key about it. If you give us an email address or phone number, we keep your contact information for our own internal use. Nobody else ever sees it.

If you have other questions, drop us an email. Whatever your church background, or if you don’t have one, relax. You’re among friends!
