Bible 201 (Page 4)

Bible 201 is our weekly teaching and training time, where we delve deeply into many different biblical topics. While we look at some of the “what” matters in God’s Word, Bible 201 focuses more on the “why” and “how” of our daily lives as believers. This usually requires taking several weeks, if not months, to work through together. We ask and answer difficult questions, seeking to grow closer to Jesus individually and as a group, so that we may more fully embrace His mission for us.

Nothing to Fear – Week 15

Themes: What does Jesus expect me personally to be doing daily, weekly, monthly, period? What I should do is too hard! It’s easy to live “mailed in” lives.

Nothing to Fear – Week 13

Themes: Modern-day Christianity has individual roles replaced by clergy: missionaries, evangelists, preachers and pastors. Telling people about Jesus in NOT my job!

Nothing to Fear – Week 12

Themes: Upon our glorification, believers will agree with Yahweh’s judgment decisions. Are we believers stumbling blocks or are we working to share/convince unbelievers that Jesus is Lord?

Nothing to Fear – Week 11

Themes: Yahweh has a purpose for our lives even though we may not now or ever know/act accordingly.  Even when we DO know, believers struggle with participation.

Nothing to Fear – Week 10

Themes: Obedience to Jesus and the Scriptures can be and feel frustrating, lonely, inequitable and unfair. Understanding our culture and our community can teach believers what’s going on and how to possibly combat it.

Am I My Brother’s Keeper – Week 6

Themes: Is the prodigal son OK with his predicament? Is the paralyzed man on the mat fine with his paralysis? (Mark 2:1-5)Nathan’s confrontation with King David – what if David refused to recognize the truth? What if Elisha turned down Elijah’s invitation?

Am I My Brother’s Keeper – Week 5

Themes: Why does Yahweh ask Cain “where is your brother?” What is the definition of a “brother”? Before you address/approach your brother, you must apply the same judgment to yourself first.
