Bible 201 (Page 11)

Bible 201 is our weekly teaching and training time, where we delve deeply into many different biblical topics. While we look at some of the “what” matters in God’s Word, Bible 201 focuses more on the “why” and “how” of our daily lives as believers. This usually requires taking several weeks, if not months, to work through together. We ask and answer difficult questions, seeking to grow closer to Jesus individually and as a group, so that we may more fully embrace His mission for us.

Amazing Imputation – Week 9

Themes: Do believers understand that grace permits freedom but limitations? Limitations matter and are important because Jesus understands what’s best for us.

Amazing Imputation – Week 8

Themes: If Jesus is watching and He were to share His opinion of our worship, would He be pleased? Why? How do you know for certain that you belong to Jesus? How does He know that you belong to Him?

Amazing Imputation – Week 6

Themes: How do you receive Yahweh’s grace? If we are to believe and then publicly and proudly voice this, it should not be a one-time only event but regular and ongoing throughout our life.

Amazing Imputation – Week 5

Themes: An object lesson for enjoyment and fun. How can worship be more exciting and participatory for people? Receiving Yahweh’s grace involves genuinely believing, admitting in personal discussion with Jesus or Yahweh and publicly and proudly voicing your decision.

Amazing Imputation – Week 4

Our Attitude Toward Death

Themes: What do Believers really think about death and dying? Mature Believers must actualize, demonstrate, discuss and confirm that Jesus and His “gift” is truly amazing. We live in a world where young and other people do not know what to live for.

Our Hesitancy to Proclaim Jesus

Themes: We’re hesitant to fearlessly proclaim Jesus’ greatness because we’re uncomfortable with humiliation. Humanity does not want a God that is humiliated. Humanity does not want a God who humiliates Himself.

Slave to Jesus – Week 18

Themes: The Bible is more meant to be heard, memorized and applied that just read.Believers should ask what does Jesus want them to do. Believers should talk frequently about Jesus and that He’s real and lives today.Believers should look, act and speak differently than the culture
